Thatcher the Dog needs a home
Thatcher is guessed to be about 8-9 years old. Here is his write up from the shelter when he came in. (Thatcher came in with a hair mat entrapped in his lower teeth. Once it was removed our vet noticed swelling and infection where the fur was. Thatcher was itchy, covered in fleas and his fur was missing on his back and tail. As if that wasn't enough Thatcher appeared to be arthritic and smelled of horse manure. After an exam our vet stated that Thatcher has bilateral partial cataracts. Thankfully Thatcher is heartworm negative. He is the SWEETEST boy and seems to be fine around other dogs. He absolutely LOVES being loved on and is so precious you can't help but all in love with this 25 lb boy. Thatcher looks similar to a Border Collie, but is much smaller. It is possible he could be a Sheltie blend. No matter what his breed this boy deserves the love and attention he desperately craves.
He is now in a foster home and will post more as we learn more about this sweet guy. He has had it rough but we know we will find his forever home and never have to worry about being neglected ever again.
The adoption fee is $200 which includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match.
